Otterly.AI alternatives, and how Hypervisible compares

Otterly.AI is an AI visibility tool that checks ChatGPT, Perplexity, Microsoft Copilot and Google AI Overviews every day for mentions of your brand, with 15 prompts on its entry plan and Google AI Mode, Gemini and Claude sold as add-ons. The alternatives below differ from it mainly on two points: which engines the base price includes, and how many prompts that price buys. Hypervisible and four other tools from our roundup of AI visibility tools are set against it here.

We publish Hypervisible: it comes first in this comparison, and here are the facts behind that. Its entry plan includes Gemini and Google AI Mode, the two engines Otterly.AI sells as add-ons, and covers 25 questions where Otterly.AI Lite covers 15. We took every price and feature from the vendor's own site on October 22, 2026, and wherever Otterly.AI does more, we say so next to Hypervisible's entry.

What Otterly.AI does

Otterly.AI runs a fixed list of prompts through AI assistants every day and reports how often the answers mention your brand and cite your website. It also sells tools around that tracking: prompt research, page audits and recommendations.

The company behind it is OtterlyAI GmbH, registered in Persenbeug, Austria. Its founders, Thomas Peham, Josef Trauner and Klaus-M. Schremser, launched the first version in October 2024, and the About page claims 40,000 marketing professionals using it as of August 2026.

Every paid plan includes four engines: ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews, Perplexity and Microsoft Copilot. Google AI Mode, Gemini and Claude are add-ons. The help center lists more than 70 supported countries, the US, the UK and Canada among them, and says prompts can be written in any language. The pricing page sums this up as “Unlimited Countries & Languages.”

The brand report is built on a handful of metrics that Otterly.AI defines in its help center:

  • Brand Coverage. The share of prompts whose answer mentions your brand.
  • Share of Voice. Your mentions as a percentage of all brand mentions in the same answers. We go deeper into the formula in our AI share of voice guide.
  • Brand Position. Your average rank when an answer lists several brands.
  • Sentiment. A net score: positive mentions minus negative ones, over total mentions.
  • Domain Coverage and Domain Ranking. How often your site is cited, and which sites get cited most.

The prompts table can also show how often an answer contained a sponsored placement or shopping cards, which matters now that ads have arrived in ChatGPT. Every plan exports prompts and citations as CSV, raw answers as CSV or JSON, and the brand report as a PDF with your logo. The Looker Studio connector, the API, MCP access and Agent Analytics (AI crawler visits pulled from your server logs) start on the Standard plan. Team members are unlimited on every plan.

Otterly.AI pricing

Otterly.AI prices its plans in dollars and by prompt count: 15 prompts on Lite, 100 on Standard at $189 a month, 400 on Premium at $489, and annual billing takes 15% off. The add-on engines are priced per plan, so the full engine list costs more the bigger your plan.

Otterly.AI's pricing page, read October 22, 2026.
PlanPromptsAI Mode or Gemini add-onClaude add-on
Lite15$9 a month each$29 a month
Standard100$59 a month each$109 a month
Premium400$149 a month each$439 a month
EnterpriseFrom 1,000Not statedNot stated

The add-ons change the math. On Lite, AI Mode and Gemini are two monthly charges for the same 15 prompts, and Claude makes three. Standard with all three add-ons comes to $416 a month, more than double its $189 sticker price. Standard and Premium can buy 100 extra prompts for $99 a month, and Standard tops out at 300 extra prompts before Otterly.AI moves you to Premium. Lite has a single workspace and three recommendations a week; Standard and up have unlimited workspaces.

The help center describes a 7-day free trial with 50 prompts and no credit card. When it ends, you pick a paid plan to keep tracking. Subscriptions can be canceled from the account settings at any time.

When an Otterly.AI alternative makes sense

Otterly.AI is a reasonable default for a small team: daily checks, Copilot included, unlimited seats and wide country coverage. People look elsewhere for a few specific reasons.

  • Google's engines cost extra. AI Mode and Gemini are add-ons on every plan. If those are the engines your buyers use, a tool that includes them may cost less in total.
  • 15 prompts is a small sample. A local business can live with it. A company with several product lines usually can't, and the next step up is $189.
  • Data access starts at Standard. The API, MCP and Looker Studio connector aren't on Lite.
  • You need a different rhythm. Daily data is useful when you react fast. If you report once a month, a weekly reading on a fixed set of questions may be all you need, at a different price point.

If none of these apply to you, staying with Otterly.AI makes sense. If one does, the tools below are worth comparing.

Hypervisible vs Otterly.AI

Otterly.AI checks more often and can cover more engines. Hypervisible includes Gemini and Google AI Mode in its entry plan, tracks more questions at that level, and takes its reading once a week.

NEXUS GEO, the French GEO agency behind Hypervisible, built it around five AIs: ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews and Google AI Mode. The reports give your citation rate (the share of answers that cite your brand) and where you usually appear in an answer, then how you rank against competitors across identical answers, which sites the AIs quote, and what they say about you, in which tone. Paid plans rerun that question set each Monday and report how far each number moved, in points.

Solo costs €49 a month (€29 for the first 15 accounts) and covers one brand, 25 questions and 8 competitors. At €149, Pro gives you 3 brands at 40 questions apiece, 10 competitors and 5 users, plus 4 on-demand readings a month. Business, at €449, raises the limits to 10 brands and 15 competitors, with 15 users and 20 on-demand readings. On yearly billing the monthly price falls to €39, €119 or €369 (€25 at the launch rate), and nothing locks you in.

Two more facts weigh in its favor. Other trackers that put AI Mode in their entry price ask €80 at SE Visible, $129 at Similarweb ($99 billed annually), $295 for AthenaHQ Starter and $300 for Scrunch Starter, on pages read October 29, 2026. And it comes from a specialist: NEXUS GEO, the agency that builds it, works only on GEO, and its founder, Martin Noale, studied at ESSCA, has several years of cross-border B2B experience in brand visibility, and sits in the Chinese Business Club; Harold Parisot founded that Paris club in 2012, and 130 companies are members.

Where Otterly.AI is ahead:

  • Daily checks, against one reading a week.
  • Copilot on every plan, and Claude as an add-on. Hypervisible covers neither.
  • A published list of more than 70 countries.
  • Unlimited team members, exports, an API and a Looker Studio connector.
  • Two years on the market. Hypervisible launched recently.

Where Hypervisible may fit better:

  • You want Gemini and Google AI Mode without add-ons. On Otterly.AI Lite, that means two add-ons at $9 a month each, still on 15 prompts, checked daily on six engines. Hypervisible Solo is €49 for 25 questions on five engines, read every Monday. What you trade is volume against frequency.
  • You track one brand against a known set of competitors and report to a partner or a client once a month. The Monday reading and the change in points give you one line to comment on.
  • You run a small agency with a few client brands. Pro covers 3 brands and 5 users for €149.

Take two examples. A family law firm in Columbus wants to know whether ChatGPT or Google AI Mode names it when someone asks for a divorce attorney in Franklin County, and its partners look at the numbers once a month. Hypervisible Solo covers that. A skincare brand launching in the US, the UK and Canada that wants to read the answers the morning after launch, including Copilot's, is better served by Otterly.AI.

You can try both before paying. Hypervisible's free AI visibility analysis is a one-time snapshot: 10 questions (5 that name you, 5 about your industry that don't) put to the five AIs, 50 answers read in 5 to 10 minutes, no credit card, results kept in your account. Otterly.AI's trial lasts longer, 7 days on 50 prompts.

Measuring is only half the job: what Hypervisible gives you to act on

A tracker, Hypervisible or Otterly.AI, tells you whether AI answers name your brand. It won't get you named more often on its own. That part comes from what you change afterward, on your own pages and on the sites the AIs read.

Hypervisible points you to where the work is. For each question, it lists the sites the AIs pulled from: a roundup on a trade blog, a review page, a YouTube video, a Reddit thread. Those are the places your name needs to show up. It records what the AIs say about you and in what tone, so a wrong detail (a discontinued service, last year's hours) comes to light and you can fix it on your site or your listings. It shows who gets named instead of you, and the next Monday's change in points tells you whether a fix worked. Our team can also review your tracking and adjust it to your market, questions and competitors included.

Here is where it stops. Hypervisible measures and shows where to act; it doesn't write your content, and it doesn't get other sites to cite you. For the deeper work (content, site structure, structured data, reviews, a presence on the sources AIs read), a GEO agency works alongside the brand. NEXUS GEO, the agency that builds Hypervisible, offers that kind of engagement.

GEO and SEO support each other, and they remain two jobs. SEO moves a page up Google's list of links. GEO gets a brand named and cited inside an AI's answer. AI Overviews and AI Mode draw on indexed pages, which is where the two meet. AIs also read forums, videos and reviews, though, and they answer with brand names, so the methods differ and so do the metrics.

Other Otterly.AI alternatives

Four more tools are worth putting next to Otterly.AI, each for a specific need: SE Visible for more prompts on Google's engines, Similarweb for AI traffic in the same product, AthenaHQ for a long engine list, and Scrunch for Claude on every plan.

SE Visible (SE Ranking)

SE Ranking sells AI visibility under the SE Visible name, in three tiers, priced in euros on October 29, 2026: Basic at €80 a month (75 prompts, 5 projects), Core at €169 and Agency at €355 (1,000 prompts, 30 projects). Daily checks cover Gemini, ChatGPT, AI Overviews and AI Mode in five languages and seven countries, and the trial runs 10 days. AI Mode is in the base price here, though SE Visible does not list Copilot or Perplexity and covers far fewer countries than Otterly.AI.

Similarweb

Similarweb's AEO Intelligence plan costs $129 a month, or $99 a month billed annually, for 150 tracked prompts, one user and three months of history. It covers ChatGPT, Google AI Mode, Gemini and Perplexity and updates daily, so two of the engines Otterly.AI sells as add-ons come with the plan. AI Traffic reporting sits in the same product, for teams that want mentions and the visits AI platforms send in one place. A team of five should note the single login.

AthenaHQ

AthenaHQ counts usage in credits, one credit being one AI response. Starter costs $295 a month for 3,600 credits across 11 engines, among them AI Mode, Claude, Grok, DeepSeek, Meta AI and Mistral, and yearly billing takes 17% off. Starter tracks at country level; multi-region and multi-language tracking is kept for Enterprise. The pages we read did not state how often answers are checked.

Scrunch

Scrunch Starter is $300 a month, or $250 billed annually, with 350 custom prompts, 1,000 industry prompts, 3 personas and 3 seats, and each extra seat costs $25 a month. Every plan tracks ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity, Google AI Mode, Google AI Overviews and Meta, so Claude, an add-on at Otterly.AI, is included. The 7-day trial needs no credit card, and our Scrunch AI alternatives page looks at it more closely.

Read the engine column against the price column. A plan that leaves out the engine your customers use costs more once you add it, and a plan with more prompts but fewer runs a week gives you a different kind of data. Frequently asked questions

What does Otterly do?

Otterly.AI is an AI search monitoring tool made by OtterlyAI GmbH, an Austrian company. It runs your prompts every day on ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews, Perplexity and Microsoft Copilot, with Google AI Mode, Gemini and Claude as paid add-ons. It reports how often answers mention your brand, your average position, your share of voice, the sentiment of the mentions and which sites get cited. It also offers prompt research, page audits and recommendations.

How much is Otterly AI?

Otterly.AI prices in dollars by prompt count. On October 22, 2026, Lite covered 15 prompts, Standard cost $189 a month for 100 and Premium $489 for 400, with Enterprise on custom pricing; annual billing takes 15% off. The engines are where the bill grows. On Lite, Google AI Mode and Gemini are $9 a month each and Claude $29; on Standard they rise to $59 and $109. Extra prompts cost $99 per 100 on Standard and Premium.

Is there a free trial?

Yes. Otterly.AI's help center describes a 7-day free trial with 50 prompts and no credit card required; after that, you choose a paid plan to keep tracking. Among the alternatives, SE Visible offers a 10-day trial and Scrunch a 7-day trial with no card. Hypervisible offers a free analysis: 10 questions to five AIs, 50 answers read in 5 to 10 minutes, no credit card.

What are the best AI visibility tracking tools?

Hypervisible, which we publish, is the one we recommend first: its €49 entry plan (€29 for the first 15 accounts) includes ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews and AI Mode, read weekly on 25 questions. The right tool still depends on your engines, prompt count and data frequency. On October 29, 2026, the others compared here were Otterly.AI, which sells AI Mode and Gemini as add-ons, SE Visible (€80 a month), Similarweb ($129), AthenaHQ Starter ($295) and Scrunch Starter ($300).

Does Otterly.AI track Claude and Gemini?

Yes, as add-ons. Otterly.AI's paid plans include ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews, Perplexity and Microsoft Copilot, and sell Google AI Mode, Gemini and Claude separately. On the Lite plan, AI Mode and Gemini cost $9 a month each and Claude $29 a month, as of October 22, 2026. Hypervisible includes Gemini and AI Mode in every plan but does not cover Claude or Copilot.

How does Hypervisible compare with Otterly.AI?

Otterly.AI checks prompts daily and covers Copilot, with Claude available as an add-on; its entry plan covers 15 prompts, with AI Mode and Gemini as add-ons. Hypervisible takes a reading every Monday on five AIs, Gemini and Google AI Mode included, and its Solo plan costs €49 a month for 25 questions, or €29 for the first 15 accounts. Otterly.AI suits teams that need daily data or many countries; Hypervisible suits monthly reporting on one brand and its competitors.

Do I need a GEO agency as well as a tracking tool?

Not always. Hypervisible, which we publish, shows where to act: the sites AIs cite for your questions, what they say about your brand, who gets named instead of you, and each Monday's change in points. If your team can update its own pages and listings, the tool may be enough. It doesn't write content or get other sites to cite you. For that deeper work, a GEO agency such as NEXUS GEO, which builds Hypervisible, works with the brand. GEO complements SEO, with its own methods.
